Lampworking is not limited to laboratory test tubes production. With a lamp, the glassworker can also model sculptures, characters, or jewels. He uses crystal rods or sodocalcic glass rods (types of glass offering a broad pallet of colours) and creates his models of collection beads.

The bead occurs in the heat of the flame, twisted around a metal mandrel (brass).

The artist handles glass in fusion and decorates his object with meticulousness, between experiment and sorcery: indeed the real color will appear only when the bead leaves the furnace...
